Cherry Blossom Kite Festival

Like last year, we went to the Cherry Blossom Kite Festival in Washington DC. Luckily it was beautiful weather! There were so many people. We were happy to find a parking spot near the national mall after just 30mins of searching.

Here Abigail is ready to go:

You can see the Washington Monument in the background. There were so many people and enough of a breeze that there were a lot of kites!

Abigail really likes her sun glasses:

Pretty cool:

And it wouldn't be a post without a picture of Abigail not wanting to be in a pic with me:).

She would rather be doing this:

Every so often we could get her to sit down for a drink or snack but really she just wanted to wander around the mall:

Darl's sister and her family met up with us there.

Ethan hung out in the stroller:

Then decided to hang on dad instead, while he flew the kite.

Abigail's cousins Andrew and Lane helping Darl fly the kite:

There's our kite! (Closest to the Washington Monument.)

After walking/running around for a while this is what Abigail started doing. It was a fun and tiring day!
