Abigail's Birthday

Sweet Abigail had her birthday this week. The only thing crazier than me having a two year old is the fact that I also have four month old:).
Since Darl had class on Monday we celebrated her birthday on Sunday and she loved it! She was so happy and really seemed to have a blast.
I wish I had taken a video of her when we sang "Happy Birthday" the first time. She was SO EXCITED and thought it was great her parents were singing to her. We went to church that morning and came home and decorated a little during her nap time. I bought little birthday hats and when I went to get her from her nap wearing a hat and I put one on her she thought it was pretty cool. Then she saw the streamers and balloons and she really thought that was great.

The birthday girl: (be warned, lots of pictures follow)

She was really excited and happy about everything:

Abigail doesn't quite understand how to blow out of her mouth but she thought it was cool anyway:

My attempt at a picture with my birthday girl but she wasn't really interested:

Abigail was given this stuffed cougar as a baby and still plays with it all the time. We thought the cougar should be part of the celebrating.

This picture captures some of her excitement for the day as she ran around:

Here she is having fun with a balloon:

She thought this was pretty funny:

Opening presents:

Darl's Mom made the cute apron she's wearing:

She liked opening presents: (the cute BYU bows are from Darl's parents)

Last month we were at Darl's sister's house and Abigail really liked the legos. As soon as she opened the present she started playing with them:

Happy girl:

Even Ethan got in on the celebrating:

Abigail loves homemade pizza. She was very excited she had her own. She's been eating it all week:

Abigail loves Elmo. When I saw a picture of these cupcakes I thought they'd be perfect to make for her. She knew who it was when we put one in front of her:

Last year she didn't want to eat the cake we made because she didn't want to get dirty (this girl can be a serious clean freak when she eats) but she had no problem this year:

Serious business:

Yummy:

We've had fun with balloons and party hats all week. Here she is on her actual bday:
 Happy Birthday Abigail Ruth!
