Philly

Last weekend we drove the 1.5hours to Philadelphia for the day. We had both been before but it was fun to see the sites again as it had been a while. The weather turned out to be beautiful and since it was the weekend after the holidays it wasn't that busy.

I like that they still had the Christmas tree up:

Abigail discovered a new toy on the trip. This was right before the history movie at the National Constitution Center:

This is a large art display created using large game pieces. (This is also near City Hall which was closed for renovations so we couldn't go in). I believe this is the monopoly hat:

Independence hall:

The Liberty Bell. The sun was shinning and it was hard to get a picture without shadows and glare:

The signers of the constitution. Darl is having a moment with Ben Franklin:

This is George Washington's actual height:

Sitting outside by the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall:

I wonder where she gets her hair and eye color:)

We found this cool market (Reading Terminal Market) and of course had to have a Philly Cheese steak (good thing we shared, it was huge):

A shot of the market:

We had a great time and tired her out!
