The Beach-Ocean City, MD

On the 4th of July we went to the beach in Ocean City, Maryland with Jenny (although I don't have any pictures of Jenny at the beach-oops!)

Only 3 months old (almost) and already looking cool:

Our friends used to live in Hawaii and let us borrow their big beach umbrella, but sometimes the wind was a little much for Abigail so she needed extra protection:

Abigail loves her bouncer chair, we thought it was the best place to have her hang out during her first beach adventure:

She wasn't really sure what to think of the beach at first. She grabbed the umbrella by herself:

Between ocean water, sweat, sunblock from our hands (how can you not touch her awesome hair?) and the wind, Abigail had some sweet hair by the end of the beach trip:


I love how excited she gets:

Darl and I wanted to put Abigail's feet in the ocean to see her reaction. When water would touch her legs she would squirm and pull them up. The last wave came and as you can see, was a little bigger than expected. Needless to say Abigail had sand EVERYWHERE after this wave:
We had a great time at the beach and are excited to go back!
